I didn't know Aleida, but that doesn't matter. She is still in my prayers, just as her family is.
May God bless her and watch over your family at this time.
Peace.

Even though Aleida and I did not have the time to really get to know each other because we had only recently 'met' at Studio Calico, I will never forget her. She was a kind, fun, vivacious, witty woman and such a loving Mom and wife. She taught me a lot through her posts on the boards and her blog, without even knowing it. Aleida and her family have been on my mind constantly this past week. I wish strength for Brandon, Joshua and Isabella during this very difficult time.

My heart goes out to you, Brandon, and to your two beautiful children. May the days ahead be filled with the wonderful memories you have of Aleida. I am a fellow Studio Calico friend, having never met Aleida in person. I feel as though I have just lost a dear friend. I know I am not alone.
God bless all of Aleida's family and close friends. We are all feeling your sorrow.
